I have to admit this is the first blog ...Hey Trent. I have to admit this is the first blog post that I have read. It made me realize 1.) I really need to go back and read the others. 2.) I really really miss you!
I have to say that I'm so proud of you. I know that might sound cheesy, but it's true. You have come so far from our school days. In fact, I admire and envy you. Look at what you're doing there in Africa! Not only are you seeing the world, but you are helping so many children and other people! I'm excited that you are coming home in 7 months, but I know the journey won't end there for you. However, I would like to reserve an appointment to catch up with you Mr. Taylor. ;) Please make some time for me.
Your story about the ocean made me flash back to college when I went to the Georgia shore with a friend and her family. I did the same thing and did not realize how to recognize a current. I just wanted to play in the "cool waves". I'm not a strong swimmer in the least, so I'm very grateful that I was with someone who helped me back to shore. Like you, I panicked at first and that only made things worse. It took me a long time to get back into the ocean after that.
I'm going to try really hard to keep in touch. Please do the same. :) We really do need to catch up. A lot has changed in my life as well. I've had to make some changes to better suite me. ;)

Miss you buddy! Can't wait to see you again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
